Pedigree
"CHER"
Cher was bought in from
the Faerdorn kennels to further strengthen the
bitch lines at Sulez. She was by Ch. Glenfall
the Gladiator out of a daughter of the Spanish
Ch. Janos de Loermo of Lynpine. Even as a young
puppy, Cher, or “Cher-Bear” as she
was known by all who loved her, had a beautiful
head which never changed or coarsened with age.
She won countless Best Head awards and had the
most amazing temperament with a tail that never
stopped wagging. She was campaigned alongside
her kennelmate Libby and on many occasions they
both won their classes, and Cher would trot
off happily with a complete stranger into the
Challenge and put on a perfect performance. In
fact on one such occasion Cher was handled to
her first CC by a very young Claire Cook of the
Manic kennels under Ivor Ward-Davies (Winuwuk).
The dog that was BOB that day was to be her future
husband Ch. & Ir. Ch. Blueprint Beern Skittles
at Walkon.
When prospective puppy owners
arrived, Cher always insisted on sitting on everyone’s
laps and kissing them until they were wet through.
She was a great character and is sorely missed.
She did, however leave a legacy
in her winning kids - Sulez
Bundesign, Sulez
Bundelicous 3 RCC, Sulez
Fair Cher owned by Merribox,
and Sulez Bundelerious at Sandyne. She will however,
go down in history as the dam of Ch.
Sulez Blackmagic. |
