News & Happenings at Sulez Boxers

• Sadly we had to say goodbye to Ch. Sulez Blackmagic on Good Friday, just two weeks after her tenth birthday. She had an inoperable stomach tumour and we take comfort in the fact that she was apparently fit and well right up until the day of her operation.

For the past two years Magic had lived with our daughter Lisa and her young family, Mia 4 and Mitchell 7, and it is a credit to her superb temperament that she had become something of a celebrity with all the local children on her twice daily school run. She was also an avid supporter of the village football team.

Magic was our "once in a lifetime dog", our special girl who made dreams come true. Mia and Mitchell say that she is a star up in the sky. I like to think so.

• Check out our new addition, Winuwuk Rock Chick at Sulez (photo below). Tilly joined us earlier this year and for me it was love at first sight! She has been winning well for us - notably- BIS Cotswold Boxer Club Open Show, and BIS Northern Boxer Club Open Show.
  

 

• Coming shortly photos of our next new addition "Duffy!"

• On a very sad note we lost Desi who died peacefully in his sleep the first week in December 2010. Run free Desi , my best friend, my soulmate. We all miss you so much.

• All of Smartie's pups have gone to their new homes and are setting in well. A dog puppy is staying here for the moment. His name is Sulez Santa Cruz.

 

• Smartie had seven puppies on 18th July, 2009. 3 brindle bitches, 2 white bitches and two brindle dogs. Sire: Ch. Koppernox Micky Finn. Enquiries welcome from serious Boxer lovers only.   She is a great mum!

 

• Smartie has been mated to Ch. Koppernox Micky Finn. Her puppies are due mid July 2009. Enquiries welcome from serious Boxer lovers only!

• Proudly presenting Sulez Showdown ( by Ch Walkon Made 'N' Issue ex Sulez Limelight) , who is shortly to join Linda Naslund's Handlers Kennel in Sweden. Kitty will be joining her half sister Fancy, ( Sulez Fancy That ) who was Top Show Boxer Mid North Sweden last year. We wish Linda, her partner Lollo and their two lovely boys the best of luck with her.

• Meanwhile we have bought in a dog puppy from the Manic kennels. His breeding will be of particular use to us, as he is line bred back to our origional foundation bitch , Ch Faerdorn Whatever Next. Jake is by Ch. Designer Game of Glenauld ex Manic Chatline. His Kennel name is Manic Marc Jacobs and we look forward to campaining alongside Simona, who has been recovering from an injury and is now raring to go!

• We have a new litter born 16/11/08 - Sire: Ch. Walkon Made 'N Issue, Dam: Sulez Limelight - "Fizz". We have four dogs and four bitches. See the puppy page for more information & photos. Puppies are available - contact us for further information.

• Sulez Boxers had a sad start to 2008 , as we lost Georgie (Ch. Sulez Shockwave) shortly after Christmas, followed by our beloved Libby ( Ch Sulez Labelled With Love) early February. They are both sadly missed by us all here at Sulez.

• For her second and last litter Magic was mated to International Champion/Attibox World Junior Champion Crom Dei Centruioni. A litter of four puppies was born on November 1st, 2007. We have retained a dog and a bitch from that litter, Sulez Simona and Sulez Santino who have both qualified for Crufts at their first Championship Shows.

• In September 2007, we were joined here at Sulez by "Marmite"... aka "Vaghna's Sundance Kid" and life has never been the same since!!! Marmite is a Fench Bulldog by Crindle's The Great Waldo of Rapparee, ex Vagna Oopsa Daisy. He thinks he is a short legged Boxer, and wrestles and races with the pack like he has always lived here! His temperament is outgoing , bossy and fearless and he is our daughter Rachel's best friend and sleeping companion. The moment he arrived here at 8 weeks , he took over all the toys and chewies .... and the Boxers let him! He thinks he is a Boxer and is fearless, wrestling and playing and galloping across the fields with them all.

• Jemma (Sulez Caprice) was mated to Sonshoby Mr Mckewan. A dog puppy, Sulez Sirocco was retained, now owned and campaigned by Sonia Johnson ( Sonshoby Boxers). Ben has been a consistant winner in his puppy classes , winning BPIS at the Essex and Eastern Counties Boxer Club Championship Show.

• Sulez Limelight (Fizz) was mated to Ch Winuwuk Lust at First Sight (Top Male 2006, Working Group Winner and National Dog of the Year 2007). A bitch from this litter was retained - Sulez Fancy That. Fancy went to live with Linda Naslund of the famous Handlers kennels in Sweden where she is winning well.
